John is a Half Moon Bay native with a passion for cooking, the outdoors, and mentoring. While growing up, he became an Eagle Scout and earned a Black Belt, where he learned how much he loved working with, coaching, and mentoring others.
He attended Brigham Young University and graduated with a B.S. in Economics and a minor in Business Administration. He has a total of five years of formal teaching experience, working with students of every age from elementary school up through college. While he has taught a variety of subjects he specializes in Swedish, Economics and Mathematics. John is a management consultant but, due to his passion for teaching, he takes time to mentor students.
