Guevara
Born and raised in Montara, Kai is a second generation coastsider. He graduated from Half Moon Bay High School, earned his bachelor's degree at UC Berkeley and is now pursuing a master’s degree in Energy Systems Management at the University of San Francisco.
An interdisciplinary thinker, Kai has always been interested in the ways that mathematical concepts, scientific knowledge, and the social dynamics of our world can come together to make sense of the things around us. This curiosity has also fueled his passion for sharing his love of learning, and for helping others expand their knowledge and skill sets. Kai has previously worked for the UC Berkeley Office of Education, teaching at schools in Oakland, and he has been tutoring for nine years.
In his free time, you can find Kai out on the Pacific surfing, enjoying local concerts, or running on the coastal bluffs.
