Emily McNally | Day School

Emily McNally has lived in Half Moon Bay since 2014. She loves to teach, write, and be a mother to her twin daughters born in 2010. She taught theater, and had a theater company in San Francisco for many years before getting her teaching credential. Emily taught at the Chinese American School and Presidio Hill School, mostly in second and third grades. Some of her personal essays have been published at Salon and Red Typewriter Magazine, and she is currently working on her first novel.

Emily has a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and Philosophy from USC and a Master’s in Theater from San Francisco State University.
