Sarah is from the Bay Area and is a graduate of Half Moon Bay High School. She is currently attending the University of California at Davis and is pursuing a B.S. in Genetics and Genomics, as well as minors in Anthropology and Human Development. Sarah is interested in the role and mechanisms of genetics which have evolved to produce and maintain organisms. Her anthropology and human development classes form a bridge between the biological and contextual coding, which influence the development of people. In the future Sarah plans to further explore the complexity of biology through research.
Outside of school Sarah interns in a molecular biology lab on campus. She is also a member of the UC Davis Marching Band. To unwind, Sarah enjoys baking, watching TV, and hanging out with friends.
