Dan offers tutoring in Math (including AP Calculus) and Physics, as well as consultation for science projects. He earned his B.S. from UC Berkeley, and M.S. from Stanford, both in Mechanical Engineering. He has extensive work experience in vibration analysis and testing, simulation of dynamic systems, hard disk drive mechanical design, and programming in MATLAB/SciLab, as well as two U.S. patents. He currently works for a local mobile app developer, updating and maintaining the iPumpkin, iCoastside, FishLine, and Berkeley Fan Guide mobile apps.
When he’s offline, Dan can usually be found grilling or smoking salmon (or other fresh local seafood from the fishermen at Pillar Point Harbor), playing tuba with the California Repercussions, producing the streaming video for HMBHS sports, following Cal sports, and keeping up with current events.
