Sara Bower is both a passionate teacher and learner.

Sara is a Bay Area native and graduated from Half Moon Bay High School. She is now an undergraduate at University of Hawaii at Manoa studying Global Environmental Science focusing on climate intersections with politics and economics.

Sara is fluent in Swedish, French, and Spanish. She has worked educating youth and adults at the Seymour Marine Center, the YMCA, and through private tutoring. Sara is a co-lead with Citizens’ Climate Lobby in Honolulu. She is an avid ocean lover, a PADI Divemaster, and an AAUS Scientific Diver. In her free time she enjoys reading, running, swimming, hiking, diving, and surfing.
